How do I create a dropdown menu?

Creating a dropdown menu (also called a submenu) is pretty straightforward:

1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
2. Go to Appearance > Menus.

3. In the menu structure area, add the pages or links you want in your menu if they’re not there already.

   To create the dropdown, drag a menu item slightly to the right underneath the menu item you want it to appear under.

   • When you see it indent, drop it there — this makes it a submenu item.
4. You can add as many submenu items as you want by repeating this.
5. Click Save Menu when you’re done.

On your site, the parent menu item will now show a dropdown with the submenu items when hovered over (desktop) or tapped (mobile).
